Safety and etiquette for home massage
Updated October 10, 2026 · 3 min read
What MiMi does to keep every session safe for guests and therapists, and the simple etiquette that makes a home massage go smoothly.

Verified therapists
Before their first booking, every therapist on MiMi has their ID card checked against their face, and passes a skills interview. Profile photos are standard portraits in the MiMi uniform, so you know what to expect when they arrive.
When a therapist accepts your booking, you can see who is coming and follow them on the map as they travel to your address.
The 4-digit check-in code
Each booking comes with a 4-digit check-in code shown in your app. The session can only start when the therapist enters it, which confirms the right therapist is at the right address.
Keep the code to yourself until the therapist is at your door. If someone arrives who doesn't match the booking, don't give the code and contact support.
SOS and trip sharing
Both you and the therapist have an SOS button in the app throughout the session, so help can be called quickly from either side if something goes wrong. You can also share your trip with a friend or family member, so someone you trust knows a session is taking place and when.
These tools protect both sides. A safe session for the therapist is a safe session for you.
Pay only the amount in the app
You pay the therapist directly at the session, in cash or by bank transfer to the therapist's own account using the VietQR code shown in the app. Pay exactly the amount the app shows; MiMi does not collect the service money.
MiMi is No Tip, so there's nothing extra to pay. If anyone asks for more than the app shows, or for payment to a different account, don't pay and contact support.
Wellness only, 18+
MiMi is for relaxation, therapy and beauty care only. Any sexual request is strictly forbidden and ends the session immediately. You must be 18 or older to book.
Therapists may also end a session if they feel unsafe or are treated disrespectfully.
This rule is what makes MiMi work for everyone: therapists can do their job with confidence, and guests can book knowing exactly what kind of service to expect. If you are booking for someone else, make sure they know the rule too.
Etiquette: respect both ways
A home massage is a professional service in a personal space. A little courtesy on both sides keeps it comfortable.
- Be ready at the booked time, with the space prepared.
- Tell the therapist about injuries, allergies or areas to avoid.
- Say if the pressure is too strong or too light; adjusting is normal.
- Keep pets in another room and the atmosphere calm.
- Treat the therapist the way you'd want to be treated at work.
If something feels wrong
Stop the session if you're uncomfortable; you don't need to explain. If the therapist doesn't come, or cancels, you pay nothing and can simply book again. In an urgent situation, use the SOS button. For anything else, contact MiMi support on the hotline 0969 906 669 or at [email protected], with your booking details.
