Tired legs from standing all day: evening leg and foot massage at home for shop staff, teachers and nurses
Updated October 26, 2026 · 2 min read
Shop staff, teachers, nurses, hairdressers and cooks often finish work with heavy legs and tight calves. Here's how to book a therapist to your home in the evening for leg and foot care, and the signs that call for a doctor rather than a massage.

Why legs feel heavy after a day of standing
Standing in one place keeps the calves and feet working constantly, without the movement you get from walking. By evening many people notice heavy legs, sore soles and slightly puffy ankles, especially in stiff shoes or on tiled floors.
A leg and foot massage helps the feet, ankles and calves loosen and feel lighter and warmer. It's relaxing care, not a substitute for seeing a doctor when something feels unusual.
Which treatment to choose in the evening
Three options that suit people who stand a lot:
- Foot acupressure massage 60 minutes (₫250,000) or 90 minutes (₫340,000): you sit back or lie down while the therapist focuses on the feet, ankles and calves.
- Foot care 45 minutes (₫250,000): a soak, cleansing and gentle massage, good when your feet are dry and tired after a day in shoes.
- After a day of walking combo 90 minutes (₫520,000): when your back and shoulders are tired too, not just your legs.
Booking time and preparation
Many people choose 19:30–20:30, about an hour after dinner. If you finish late, schedule in advance in the app so the therapist can plan the route; sessions between 22:00 and 06:00 carry a night surcharge of ₫50,000, already included in the total. Have a reclining chair or sofa and a large towel ready, and wash your feet before the therapist arrives.
Tell the therapist beforehand if you have varicose veins (they'll work gently and avoid pressing directly on them), wounds, a skin infection or are pregnant. The price is shown before you confirm, you pay the therapist directly and there's no tip.
When to see a doctor instead of booking a massage
Skip the massage and see a doctor promptly if you notice any of these:
- One leg suddenly swollen, red, warm or painful to touch.
- Morning heel pain that lasts for weeks, or numbness and tingling spreading into the foot.
- Swelling in both legs together with shortness of breath or unusual tiredness.
