Relaxing head massage at home: 30 minutes to ease a tense head after work
Updated October 22, 2026 · 2 min read
No hour-long session, no changing clothes: a relaxing head massage is a quick, simple option for days when your head feels wound up tight. Here's what to know before you book.

What is a relaxing head massage?
It's a gentle massage of the scalp, temples, back of the neck and shoulders, lasting 30 or 45 minutes. The treatment on MiMi doesn't include hair washing, so you simply sit back or lie down, with no water to prepare and no need to change clothes.
It usually leaves your head feeling lighter, calmer and readier to rest. Massage is not a substitute for medical care: if you have frequent or severe headaches, or headaches with blurred vision or dizziness, see a doctor.
Who tends to book it
Head massage is popular with many guests because it's short and easy to fit in:
- Office workers who look at a screen all day.
- People who want to unwind quickly before bed.
- People who aren't used to full-body massage or would rather not change clothes.
Duration and price
On MiMi you can choose 30 or 45 minutes, from ₫180,000. If you'd also like more work on your shoulders and upper back, you can choose Deep neck and shoulders (from ₫250,000). The price is shown in the app before you book, you pay the therapist directly, and there's no need to tip.
Preparing at home
You only need a few simple things:
- A chair with a backrest or a sofa, or a bed if you'd like to lie down.
- Tie back long hair, and take off glasses and jewellery.
- Tell the therapist in advance if you have a scalp wound, have recently had surgery on the head or neck, or are being treated for blood pressure problems.
